Response to Intervention (RtI) is an early identification process for prevention, advancement and early intervention that focuses on a tiered approach for students with learning and behavior needs. Centering on high quality, best practice core instruction, students who struggle are provided with increasingly intense levels of interventions which positively impacts their learning. The procedural model for RtI includes the following key components:
- Evidence-based core curriculum, instruction, and tiered interventions/extensions
- Assessment and progress monitoring systems

Public Folders--where to find useful CPHS documentsWhen you log into your e-mail, you will find a new folder at the bottom called "Public Folders". [To see this folder, you might need to click on "Go" in the top bar and choose "Folder List".] Click on the "+" to expand the folder. You will see "All Public Folders". Click on the "+" to expand the folder. You will now see "CPHS". Click on the "+" to expand the folder. You will now see several folders containing tons of useful documents to help you with curriculum writing, instructional techniques, club issues, etc. If you want to see the contents of the folder itself (not just the sub-folders), be sure to click on the folder icon. For example, click on the "Forms" folder (not just the +) to see things like the facility usage form. Explore often and see what's new. You will also see folders just for your department in this same location so you can easily share files, images, etc. within your department. Only people from your department see this folder so you can share secure files like common exams, etc.
