    On behalf of the Crown Point High School faculty and staff, welcome to the CPHS website. We hope that you find the website user-friendly as you explore the many different opportunities available for students. Crown Point High School was founded in 1880 with the first senior class graduating with 6 students in 1883. Today, CPHS is one of the largest comprehensive high schools in Indiana with over 700 seniors expected to graduate in June. Our committed faculty encourages students to Engage, Experience and Excel by promoting the values of lifelong learning and ensuring that students are prepared for their college and career opportunities upon graduation. Students are able to pursue over 20 Advanced Placement and over 50 dual credit courses. In addition, our athletics and arts programs, along with over 50 co-curricular clubs and organizations, provide options for students to explore interests beyond the classroom. Our students are routinely ranked amongst the best in the state and nation. In 2016, over 70% of graduates earned college credit with more than 30% completing a year of college while still enrolled at CPHS.
