Welcome to Mrs. Albrecht's classroom website! This site was created to make it easy for you to find answers to commonly asked questions, and it will help you get to know our school and classroom! We have a busy and exciting year in store for us!
I am very excited to share a little information about myself with you. This is my eighth year teaching first grade at Lake Street. I feel VERY fortunate to be a teacher in such a great school with wonderful students and faculty members! I have lived in Crown Point my entire life, and I graduated from Crown Point High School in 2005. After I graduated, I attended college at Purdue University in West Lafayette and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. Go Boilermakers! I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. My favorite animals are cats, and I had a cat named Snowy who lived to be 20 years old! I also like dogs. I have a dog named Piper! She is a yorkie poodle! I have four goldfish: Elvis, Caesar, Abe, and Arnold...and my Pleco, Darlene, keeps their tank clean! Mr. Albrecht and I currently reside in our favorite city where we were born and raised...Crown Point! We are going to have a fun-filled year of learning and lots of new adventures! I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us. Feel free to browse this website, but don't ever hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
