Hello!  Welcome to the CJWMS Guidance Department!  My name is Andrea Day and I am a school counselor here at Colonel John Wheeler Middle School.  My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s College, and Master of Science Degree in Education for School Counseling from Purdue University.  I have been a licensed school counselor since 2014.  It has been my pleasure to serve our youth in this role and one of the best jobs I have ever held!

When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and friends.  I enjoy reading, baking, and living my best life to the fullest.

Crown Point is where I call my home!  I graduated from Crown Point High School in 2000.  I not only serve my own community in my role, but I find it rewarding to give back to the school corporation that gave to me a lifetime ago.  Home sweet home!

My name is Kim Doolin and I am the Home School Facilitator, Department Chair, and 504/PBIS Coordinator at Colonel John Wheeler Middle School.  I am a licensed Social Worker with a degree in Social work from Indiana University/IUPUI.  I have over 25 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of healthcare settings. As our Home School Facilitator here at Colonel John Wheeler Middle School, I hold many responsibilities, including but not limited to working with students and their emotional/social well-being, parent communications, small group instructions, training sessions, and resource referral support.

I started with Colonel John Wheeler Middle School since the school opened and feel I have been a valuable source of guidance and support for the many students that come and go through our school.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and relaxing on my boat with my family.
