Crown Point High School Named to 2024 AP School Honor Roll, Silver Level with AP Access
Crown Point High School is excited to announce its recognition as a 2024 AP School Honor Roll recipient, earning Silver Level with AP Access. This award, given by the College Board, celebrates schools that are opening doors to Advanced Placement (AP) courses for more students while achieving strong results.
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools that meet high standards, including having a significant number of students take AP exams, scoring 3 or higher on these college-level assessments, and balancing AP participation across all grade levels. The additional AP Access distinction highlights Crown Point High School’s commitment to ensuring these opportunities are available to all students, regardless of their background.
“Being named to the AP Honor Roll is such an accomplishment for our school and community,” said Principal Russ Marcinek. “This honor reflects the hard work of our students, teachers, and staff to create an environment where every student feels empowered to take on academic challenges. We’re proud to offer these opportunities to all learners.”
Crown Point High School is one of a select group of Indiana schools to achieve this recognition, including the AP Access Award. This distinction highlights the school’s focus on making rigorous coursework more inclusive while maintaining a strong tradition of academic excellence.
