Byting Bulldogs Robotics Offers Programs for Scouts

Colonel Wheeler Middle School’s Byting Bulldogs Robotics program is now offering STEM sessions for scout groups interested in earning robotics or STEM badges. Scouts can participate in unique program options, each designed to inspire curiosity and learning in STEM.

Some examples of programs include:

  • Robotics Basics – learn about what a robot is and design a robot prototype.
  • DIY Lava Lamp – create lava lamps while learning about liquid density and chemical reactions.
  • Gooey Gak – experiment with non-Newtonian fluids to make “gak,” exploring the properties of polymers and the fascinating world of complex fluids.

Crown Point Community School Corporation (CPCSC) is committed to providing comprehensive STEM education from kindergarten through high school. At CPCSC, students have access to a variety of STEM classes, robotics extracurriculars starting in elementary school, and numerous high school courses that guide students toward diverse STEM careers.

Scout troops interested in scheduling a program for their group can contact robotics coach Michael Early at mearly@cps.k12.in.us for more information.
