    Welcome Families!
    My name is Kim Sassman, and I am excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year. This is my 10th year teaching,  and I am excited to once again be working with the wonderful staff and families in this community! 
    I attended college at Valparaiso University and received my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Shortly after graduating, I fell in love with teaching and returned to school. I graduated from Calumet College where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, along with additions in Math and Business.
    I live in Crown Point with my husband Rich and our dog Glitzy. When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading, traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends! I'm looking forward to an exciting and adventure filled year! I can not wait to meet you all soon!
