Mrs. Brandy Sims
Hello, Winfield Families! I am honored to be your PBIS Coach for a fourth year. My husband, Jason; our two daughters, Audrina (8) and Emalyn (4); our dog, Sophie; and I joined this phenomenal Winfield/Crown Point community shortly before Audrina began kindergarten. We had moved quite a bit for Jason’s job prior to settling here. We have lived in central Ohio, the central valley of California, and Green Bay. My family and I are happy to have finally found our forever community. We feel truly blessed to have had such a warm welcome here and are excited to continue building relationships within this community.
On warm days, when I am not at school, you may find me with my family taking walks around our neighborhood or riding bikes along the Crown Point bike trail. We love to spend our summers down the street at the waterpark and walking through tree tops at the nearby aerial park. My family has also been enjoying exploring the sites and museums of the exciting city of Chicago.
Currently, I am spending much of my time working on my college classes, as I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education from WGU. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Social Science from Troy University in 2013, an Associate of Arts degree with an early childhood education discipline from The Ohio State University in 2012, and an Associate of Science degree with a general education discipline from Troy University in 2007. I also served in the Active Army as an automated logistical specialist for about six years.
I am grateful to be able to continue serving our students, our school, and you to the best of my ability. Thank you for sharing your children with me. They honestly fill my bucket every single day!

it’s our job to share our calm, not join their chaos.”
