COURSE DESCRIPTION
Interpersonal Relationships is for anyone who wants to learn how to have better relationships with parents, siblings, friends, or co-workers. Interpersonal Relationships addresses the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors all students need to participate in positive, caring, and respectful relationship. A project-based approach that utilizes higher order thinking, communication, leadership, and management processes is used. Topics include communication, leadership and teamwork; goal setting and decision making; preventing and managing stress and conflict. Students will learn through group activities, projects, guest speakers, lectures, literature, movies, and applications through authentic settings such as volunteer experiences. One of the F&CS courses from which students may choose three to fulfill the required Health and Wellness credit
