Crown Point High School students are required to take two semesters of Physical Education to graduate. Both credits may be earned through non-traditional PE. A student can receive one (1) credit for participation in each qualifying activity including, football, basketball, volleyball, cross country, golf, soccer, track and field, cheerleading, softball, baseball, swimming, tennis, wrestling, gymnastics, and dance team. Students may earn two non-traditional PE credits by participating in two different qualifying activities. The maximum number of credits that can be earned through non-traditional PE is two (2) which will meet the graduation requirement. Students must have their coach (es) complete a “Non-Traditional PE Enrollment Form,” which can be obtained from the guidance office or athletic office.
