COURSE DESCRIPTION
AP Environmental Science is a course that provides students with the scientific principles, concepts, methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world, to identify and analyze environmental problems both natural and man-made, to evaluate the relative risks associated with these problems, and to examine alternative solutions for resolving or preventing them. This class can be taken concurrently with Chemistry I. Students will take the end-of-course Advanced Placement test in May. Scores of a 3, 4, or 5 will result in college credit at Indiana public colleges/universities. Private Indiana colleges may differ.
