I was born in Gary Indiana and attended Lew Wallace High School. After graduation I went to Moody Bible Institute and graduated with a degree in Bible Theology. After meeting my wonderful Husband Bob we moved to Tulsa Oklahoma where we both attended Rhema Bible Training Center and graduated with degrees in teaching youth. We moved to Houston Texas where we were the Youth ministers and the associate Pastors for City of Light Church. After a year we moved back to Tulsa Oklahoma where I attended Tulsa College and received my Registered Nursing Degree. I worked on a medical floor at City of Faith Hospital for a year before having my first Daughter Jennifer. We moved back to Indiana to be closer to family and this is where I started working in the pediatrics office of Dr. Conway. I continued to work with pediatrics for 18 years, before getting the nurses job at Lake Street. I am starting my third year at Lake Street and truly enjoy working with the elementary children, attending to their medical needs and teaching them about basic health issues. I find my knowledge in pediatrics has helped me in attending to the needs of the elementary students. I have three beautiful daughters, Jennifer, that attends IU working on her degree in special Education, She also works as a para at Crown Point High school. My middle daughter Jessica graduated last year from Crown Point High School and just finished her internship in Colorado working with a Church and going on Missions. She works for Dr. Swartz at bone and joint for now. Our youngest daughter Jaimie is a senior at Crown Point High school, is a varsity Cheerleader, and is involved in many school activities as well as church and community. My husband of 28 years is in IT at Purdue University and plays in a band for fun. I enjoy my community, family and Lake Street staff and students, and I am always available to help with your concerns about your child .
