Students at Eisenhower Elementary School will participate in the Accelerated Reader Program.

The students will also be given the opportunity to complete the Young Hoosier Book Program.

The Media Center will host two Scholastic Book Fairs during the school year.

I will be initiating an after school book club for students in grades two through five.

I will be hosting the "Disable the Label Event" in the Media Center. The program encourages students to be compassionate, and also develop an understanding of people faced with challenges.

The students will celebrate "Read Across America Day" in honor of Dr. Seuss' Birthday.

We also participate in the "Put Your Nose in a Book" a program which promotes literacy.
