To tell you a little bit about myself, I am 29 years old and I was raised in Whiting, Indiana. Recently, I moved to Hobart where my husband Jimmy, my two dogs, Harry and Lloyd, and I enjoy relaxing and spending time together. Some of my other hobbies include doing anything outside, scrapbooking, running, and spending time in the Word.
I graduated from Indiana University Northwest in 2003 with my teaching degree in Elementary Education. In May of 2008, I received my masters degree from Ball State University, and in June of 2009 I became licensed in High Ability Education, also through Ball State University. I was very fortunate to be hired into the Crown Point school family in 2004. I taught fourth grade at Jerry Ross elementary for four years, and this is my third year with the high ability department, in which I have the opportunity to work with third, fourth, and fifth graders. Each day is something exciting and new!!!!
