Spell Bowl Advisor:  Ms. Franklin

 

Spell Bowl is a state competition hosted in October each year. All students at Taft are eligible to join the spell bowl team. Students are selected for the spell bowl competition after studying the approximately 1700 words on the list. Each student is given a spelling quiz at practice. We correct these and study some of the words for the competition. This year students were able to use a computer program to study the words and take practice quizzes. The spell bowl team meets twice per week after school.
